Meet Matt

Matt Muller is a lifelong Texan with more than forty years of legal experience and a strong commitment to fairness and public service. He graduated from Rice University in 1980 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law in 1985.

Before becoming an attorney, Matt worked as an oil and gas landman and held a variety of jobs that gave him firsthand experience with the challenges facing working families. Throughout his career, he has represented individuals, families, small businesses, and large corporations in both civil and criminal matters, presenting cases before judges and juries across Texas.

Matt has spent his legal career helping clients navigate complex legal disputes involving consumer issues, property rights, contracts, fraud claims, landlord-tenant matters, and other civil litigation. He believes one of the government's most important responsibilities is providing fair, impartial, and accessible courts where every person receives equal treatment under the law.

A man of faith from a large, close-knit family, Matt attended church schools for thirteen years and carries those values into his professional and personal life. He and his wife, a respiratory therapist, live near Manvel and are proud parents of an adult daughter.

Now, after four decades of practicing law, Matt is seeking your vote to serve as Judge of Brazoria County Court at Law No. 2.
